Advance Tax Calculator

Split your advance tax into instalments with due dates for June, September, December and March.

Who pays advance tax?

If your tax liability for the year, after TDS, is ₹10,000 or more, you pay tax in instalments during the year instead of one lump sum at filing. Freelancers and business owners usually fall in this group because no employer deducts tax for them.

What happens if you miss it

Interest under sections 234B and 234C applies on short or late payments. Pay the shortfall as soon as you notice it, and keep the challan.
